About Me
I am a computational biologist. My research surrounds deciphering the regulatory role and dynamics of RNAs and Transcription Factors (TFs) towards understanding disease progression esp. in cardiovascular regeneration and cancer. I am currently working on developing efficient and scalable pipelines for integrating multi-omics data, machine learning and deep learning algorithms and statistical network modelling methods. The domains of my research interests primarily include Machine Learning, Next-Gen Sequencing Data Analysis, ceRNA Networks, Statistical Modeling and Cloud Computing.
Short CV
I received my bachelors in Information Technnology from National Institute of Technology (Durgapur), India and completed my masters in Distributed and Mobile Computing from Jadavpur University (Kolkata), India. Thereafter, I pursued my PhD with the Division of Bioinformatics, Bose Institute, India and Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Calcutta University, India.
